What we offer

Oasis del Norte is where you - cross-cultural workers in Paraguay or beyond - can come to rest, restore your soul, refresh your relationship with God, reconnect with your family and renew your heart and vision for ministry.

On the edge of a small town, with over an acre of green trees and lawn, there is a quincho for asados, a playground, a small soccer field, and a large shady verandah for relaxing and drinking tereré.

Oasis has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, dishes and cooking utensils. All you need to bring is your food!

We do not charge a fee, but accept voluntary donations from our guests to help with running expenses. No specific programme is provided, but if you so desire, we are available to listen, counsel and pray with you and/or your children.

The centre has two tastefully decorated bedrooms that can accommodate up to ten people. There are two bathrooms and all bedding and towels are supplied.

The large room doubles as a dining room and games room, with board games, puzzles and toys available. There is air-conditioning throughout the building.

The Oasis is situated in General Aquino, 215 km northeast of Asuncion, approximately 3 hours drive from the capital.

  • Yes, the road from Asuncion to General Aquino is asphalt.

  • Basic food supplies can be purchased here, but there are only little supermarkets and general stores, so we recommend you bring your food stuffs with you.

  • Yes, The Oasis has unlimited wifi.

  • Yes, the Oasis property is fully fenced, and the gates are locked at night.

  • We are sorry, but no pets are allowed at The Oasis.
