About us

Francisco grew up in Asuncion, the capital city of Paraguay, he decided to follow Jesus at the age of 17, and as a young man was led to work with children in a Christian school in the interior.  

Joanna grew up in New Zealand, had a calling to missions as a teenager, and as a result of that several years later went to Paraguay to teach English as a second language. 

They were married in 1995, and have lived in rural Paraguay since then, with small periods of time in New Zealand.  

They have three adult children, Nic, Mel and Ben.
